With the at most and gratifying sensation that this club offers the outstanding opportunity to create an English atmosphere for the English language lovers and speakers alike. At last, Santarém has what it takes to promote English speaking for students and non-students. Therefore, this spot gathers everyone eager enough to celebrate the feast that is to communicate herein and elsewhere, only in English.

Welcome to The first conversation club from Santarém - Pará. A spot where all you have to do is to speak English. Here you don't have to be from an English course, unless you speak well (accepting intermediate level speakers). Represented mainly by Escola de Inglês Prof. Flávio Serique and CCAA students, this club receives English speakers from all over the world (native or non-native) for a month meeting on fridays at 6:30 p.m.

Catherina, the lady on the left, has been to several countries but now lives in Australia. She's been a school and music teacher. The lady on the right is Tineke, she is Dutch and works for INFORAMAZON. Like everyone from Holland she's a real traveller and likes a lot Brazil and Alter-do-Chão as the main Amazonian spot. Despite being Dutch she spent her childhood in Brazil , has lived in the States and every once in a while she visits her parents who are now located in Santos.

That night was crowded!!!! I mean it!!!! eh eh !!!
Not forgetting that our friend straight from Germany, Simon, came to join a bit more of his communicative knowledge.

Look there!!!! The newest stars. :P

These guys look really concentrated, don't they? ;)

One more time our usual reunion has occured at CCAA with a numerous amount of visitors gathering for the "feast". This time we've had Karim Abu Bakr - aged 21 , Russian and fluent in Spanish, French and English. He's been here since December 2010 charging his bateries before moving back to Europe. He's actually an International journalist who's just graduated and been working as an ocassional translator.
